How to Play Craps
Craps is a dice game. Two dice are rolled. The outcome determines whether bets win or lose. The most common bet is the Pass Line: you win on 7 or 11 on the come-out roll, lose on 2, 3, or 12, and any other number becomes the Point. The Point must be rolled again before a 7 to win.
How to Play
- Place a Pass Line bet (or Don't Pass for the opposite).
- The come-out roll: 7 or 11 wins. 2, 3, or 12 loses. Any other number sets the Point.
- If a Point is set, rolling continues until the Point number or 7 appears.
- Point before 7: Pass Line wins. 7 before Point: Pass Line loses.
- Additional bets (Come, Place, Field, Proposition) are available during the round.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I roll a 7 on the come-out roll?
A 7 on the come-out roll wins the Pass Line bet. You collect your winnings and a new come-out roll begins.
How do I win after a Point is established?
You win by rolling the Point number again before a 7 appears. Rolling a 7 before the Point loses your Pass Line bet.
What is the difference between Pass Line and Don't Pass bets?
Pass Line bets win on 7 or 11 on the come-out roll, while Don't Pass bets win on 2 or 3. After a Point is set, Pass Line wins if the Point rolls first, and Don't Pass wins if 7 rolls first.
What numbers lose immediately on the come-out roll?
The numbers 2, 3, and 12 lose the Pass Line bet on the come-out roll. These rolls are called craps.
Which numbers can become the Point?
Any number from 4 to 10 except 7 can become the Point. The Point is set when you roll 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 on the come-out roll.
