Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Ante bet and the Aces Up side bet?

The Ante bet is the primary wager you place before receiving cards, and it determines your potential raise amount. The Aces Up side bet pays based solely on your final four-card hand, independent of the dealer's hand or outcome.

Can I raise my bet after seeing all five of my cards?

Yes, you can raise your Ante bet between 1x and 3x your original amount after evaluating your five cards. You must either fold or play with your chosen raise amount before the dealer reveals their hand.

How many cards does the dealer use to make their final hand?

The dealer receives six cards total and selects the best four-card hand from those six cards. One of the dealer's cards is revealed face-up during gameplay.

What happens if I fold instead of playing my hand?

If you fold, you lose your Ante bet and cannot win that round. Any Aces Up side bet you placed also loses when you fold.

Is the Aces Up side bet required to play Four Card Poker?

No, the Aces Up side bet is optional and separate from the main game. You only need to place an Ante bet to participate in the primary hand against the dealer.
