How to Play

Think of Oasis Poker as Caribbean Stud with a second chance. At EvoJacks, you get five cards, see one of the dealer's cards, and then — before deciding to Raise or Fold — you can swap out any cards you do not like. Each swap costs one Ante, but a well-timed exchange can turn a losing hand into a winner.

Everything else works just like Caribbean Stud. Raise for double your Ante if your hand is strong, or Fold to cut your losses. The dealer needs Ace-King or better to qualify. If they miss, your Ante pays 1:1 and the Raise comes back. The card exchange is what sets Oasis apart — it gives you a way to rescue borderline hands that would be automatic folds in standard Caribbean Stud.

The exchange decision is where the game gets interesting. Holding four hearts and one off-suit card? Swap the odd one out for a shot at a Flush. Three to a Straight Flush? Exchange the two weak cards if the potential payout justifies the cost. Each swap costs one Ante, so exchanging multiple cards gets expensive — but the reward of turning a Fold into a winning Raise can more than cover the fee.

Side Bets

Oasis Poker features the 5+1 Bonus side bet, which works on your original dealt hand — before any card exchange. The dealer's visible card is added to create a six-card evaluation. This means even if you swap cards to improve the main hand, the side bet is already locked in based on your initial cards.

5+1 Bonus

Your 5 dealt cards plus the dealer's up-card are combined for the best poker hand. Evaluated before any card exchange. Royal Flush tops it at 1000:1.

Because the 5+1 Bonus is locked in before exchanges, you can freely swap cards to improve the main hand without worrying about losing a good side bet result. The two bets operate on different card sets: the side bet uses your dealt hand, the main hand uses your final (possibly exchanged) hand.

Millionaire Mode

Add a $1 side bet for a shot at $1,000,000. Seven cards are evaluated for the spade straight flush: 8♠ 9♠ 10♠ J♠ Q♠ K♠ A♠. Your 5 cards plus the dealer's up-card plus 1 bonus card drawn from the deck = 7 cards evaluated.

Provably Fair

The whole deck — including the cards you might swap in — is locked by a SHA-256 hash before you place your bet. After the hand, the server reveals the raw seed so you can verify everything. Replacement cards come from pre-set deck positions, so the server cannot change what you draw. Check any hand from the game history panel at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Oasis Poker different from Caribbean Stud?

You can swap cards before deciding to Raise or Fold. Each swap costs one Ante. Everything else is the same: 5 cards, dealer qualifies at Ace-King, Raise is double the Ante.

How much does swapping cards cost?

One Ante per card. If your Ante is $5 and you swap 3 cards, that is an extra $15. The fee is non-refundable whether you win or lose.

Does the 5+1 Bonus use swapped cards?

No. The 5+1 Bonus is evaluated on your original hand before any exchange. It combines your dealt 5 cards with the dealer's up-card for the best 5-card poker hand from 6.

How does Millionaire Mode work?

A $1 side bet evaluates 7 cards for the spade straight flush. Your 5 cards plus the dealer's up-card plus 1 bonus card. All 7 matching = $1,000,000.

When is it worth swapping?

When you are one card away from a strong hand, like 4 to a flush or an open-ended straight. The swap cost adds up, so only exchange when the upgrade potential outweighs the extra Ante.

Is the game provably fair?

Yes. SHA-256 commitment locks the entire deck order before your bet. Swap cards come from fixed deck positions. The raw seed is revealed after each hand for verification.
